On Tuesday, February 9, 2021 we will be launching our 2nd Annual GC Giving Challenge! For 48 hours, we are asking our entire community – alumni, students, friends, faculty, and staff – to join together and make a difference for our students.
Over the past year, the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted the daily lives of people around the globe. Last spring, $44,000 in donations to the GC Helping Hands Fund helped more than 250 students pay for necessities such as grocery, gas, rent, and utility bills. We thank all who donated then and ask for everyone to come together again as many Georgia College students are continuing to face some unique economic and logistical challenges as they work to overcome the impact of the virus. Restricted housing opportunities, lost wages and unemployment, and other monetary concerns continue to plague many of our students.
With your gift to the GC Helping Hands Fund, you can help alleviate the financial burdens for our students and encourage them to focus on their goals for the future.
If you wish to make a gift to another designation or fund, please visit this project page.
