Call Me MiSTER
On Tuesday, September 10, 2019 beginning at Noon, we will kick off our first-ever GC Giving Challenge! For 48 hours, we are asking our entire community of alumni, students, friends, faculty and staff to join together to make an impact on our students.
Georgia College has the state's first and only Call Me MiSTER (Mentors Instructing Students toward Effective Role Models) program, which focuses on recruiting and empowering under-represented males to become K-12 teachers. However, financial challenges represent a key barrier to increasing male racial diversity in the teaching profession. You can help shift this narrative within our College of Education by supporting our Call Me MiSTER program. Donations like yours will help support student scholarships and efforts to build a pipeline of more racially diverse teachers via the Rising MiSTER Academy.
We encourage you to join us in our mission to plant seeds of dignity in children and produce crops of unprecedented success! Make a difference, one student at a time, by donating to the Call Me MiSTER program today.
If you wish to make a gift to another designation or fund outside of the Giving Challenge, please visit our main giving website. You can select a fund from the drop down menu or type in your own designation.
