Georgia College Women’s Softball finished 2nd in the Peach Belt Conference with an overall record of 36-16 and advances to the NCAA Southeast Regionals competition.
Georgia College Softball athletes led the Peach Belt conference in batting average (.336), on base percentage (.425), and stolen bases (132).
Softball led the conference with eight student-athletes named to the PBC All-Academic Team including Amber Coy, Hannah Coursey, Holland Coursey, Baylee Hall, Deja Lester, Nicole Humphries, Caroline Snider and Kayla Price.
Hannah and Holland Coursey were named to the Google Cloud Academic All-American Team. Hannah was named as the designated player to the first team, while Holland was named to the second team as an outfielder. The Coursey sisters were the only two Peach Belt Conference student-athletes on the list.
The Georgia College Women’s Softball team prides itself with an overall team GPA of 3.41, with Hanna Coursey being names softball's first Valedictorian for the GC 2018 graduating class.
