GC Giving Challenge

On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, we will be launching our 2nd Annual GC Giving Challenge! For 48 hours, we are asking our entire community – alumni, students, friends, faculty, and staff – to join together and make a difference for our students. 

Our 48-hour giving challenge will take place during February 9-11 to raise funds for our campus community. You can choose to support one of the six projects or another fund of your choice and be part of the Giving Challenge.

Every dollar of every gift during the 48-hours will be counted towards our goal.

What is CrowdThunder?

CrowdThunder is Georgia College's crowdfunding platform to help reform the way the university fundraises. GC and its colleges, schools and athletic teams can showcase their prospective projects to outline funding priorities.

How is CrowdThunder different from other crowdfunding platforms?

Gifts made through CrowdThunder directly support the designated project, whether or not the project reaches its fundraising goal. Your entire gift is a tax-deductible contribution to the GCSU Foundation, Inc. Each gift is immediately directed to the respective program or project you support.
